People come to Mackinac Island to unwind, so we help you relax as soon as you arrive at our Mackinaw City, St. Ignace or Mackinac Island docks. It’s an "Up North" hospitality we've been perfecting for more than 125 years – longer even than the Grand Hotel!
Drive onto the dock and park temporarily near the Reception Center. If you plan to stay overnight on Mackinac Island, we will help you unload your baggage, tag it for your hotel and send it on the next ferry. When you return, you will find your luggage waiting for you in our covered area.
• Ferry tickets. Walk over to our covered, dockside Reception Center to purchase your roundtrip ferry tickets and bike passes. You can use your ticket now or redeem it later on any Arnold boat, any date or time on this year's schedule. No reservations are needed ... just come aboard!
• Island hospitality. Once you arrive on Mackinac Island, Arnold Ferry dockhands are ready to help with your luggage, find a horse-drawn taxi or hotel carriage or point you in the right direction for the next stop on your island adventure.
• Dogs welcome. Family pets and service dogs ride across free, too.
• Special group privileges. When your bus pulls in, our crew quickly rolls out our group services. Arnold ferries are so spacious everyone in your group can ride over together. Special ticket savings are given to groups, convention-goers and AAA members.
• FREE day parking. The day lot is right next to our docks. For longer stays, use our valet, overnight, monthly and seasonal parking.
• Wheelchair accessible. The Arnold Ferry docks, restrooms and the main decks are barrier-free. If you have special needs, we will always invite you to the front of the line so you can get comfortable before everyone else boards.
• Kids under age 5 ride FREE.
• Restrooms are available at the Reception Centers and aboard all of our boats.
• Snacks & beverages are available in our dockside vending machines.
